Just get 2 Xs. One with 6-seat monoposts, one with 7-seat manual. One to show off, one to haul people/things. Problem solved. Elon to the rescue once more.

yup and carpet backed its a dramatic downgrade from the beautiful "sculpted" seats that could be controlled from the screen.

I had 2016 MX with "beautiful sculpted" 7 seats and now have 2018 7 seater. I much prefer to latter. 2016 seats pretty much made 3rd row unusable. I current 7 seater there is definitely more room in the 3rd row when bench is moved forward.
