Diess sacked !! VW fast track towards Bankruptcy

I’m not really surprised to see VW removed him.

This guy was honest enough to say VW are unable to develop EV vehicles and new motors from existing revenues. (a problem VW share with Stellantis and GM ).

I did report this a few weeks ago . Now they sacked him !

Poor man … he was only telling the truth !

VW tried to sell Porsche, but despite being a premium brand , no one wants to buy it !

So, then they plan an IPO, but it’s hard to get people to underwrite a brand with more history than future.

It looks like the IPO will be only for the brave and the foolhardy!

The move to EV’s , proper EV’s not the hybrid crap, is happening much faster than analysts predicted. These ice companies are going bust much faster even than Tesla bulls predicted.

VW is mostly owned by the Porsche and Piech families. (Way Back When, Ferdinand Porsches daughter married into the Piech family which controlled VW. His son Ferry started todays Porsche automotive in 1948.) Whether the Porsche autos are part of the VW group or not kinda seems to depend on what the families feel is appropriate at the time. IMHO, the Porsche family will never give up control of Porsche.
