Dimpling

I would like to know if others are seeing this issue. The top surface of the lip of the dash is dimpled on delivery of my new car. In straight on lighting, it's not visible. In slanted lighting, it almost looks like hammer marks spaced across the surface. Is this due to the way the dash is installed on top of the display?

I had the same dimpling on my dash pad right above the center screen to more of the right side. My car was brand new about a month ago so i had them change the dash pad and the new one is all good.

Thanks Pentium2004. I will look into that along with wrinkled seats.
