Dipped my 20 factory rims with Hyperdip

Sharing pic of dipped 20” aero rims with Hyperdip shadow black dip. Took six coats but they turned out well with a very slight gloss. Prefer this to plastidip which is quite a flat matte look.

Looks good! How well does it hold up over time? How long until you'll need to redo it?

Well we will see how well it holds up as Hyperdip is new. I plasti-dipped winter rims on my other car four years ago and they still look good today. Long as my wife doesn’t rub them up on the curb I think they should be solid for a couple years

Is 1 can enough for 6 coats on all wheels?

The kit from Hyperdip came with 5 cans which was enough to do six coats on four wheels with bit left over. Yes shadow black

How do you think this would cover up a couple areas of curb rash?

Are you leaving the lug nuts undipped? If dipping the lug nuts as well, how do they hold up after tightening? I'm asking because I want to remove the wheels before dipping, as opposed to leaving the wheels on.
