@WannabeOwner : add yourself or wife as a second driver to the quotes. Sometimes can bring young uns premiums down. Never tried it my self, mine aren't old enouge to drive yet (may never have a need??), but I have heard this multiple times.

That works sometimes if the main driver is the older person, it also sometimes works when adding a slightly younger female to a male policy but also depends on the insurer.
If you rang the DL Tesla number and got a quote, telling them that you have AP gave a 5% discount on the figure quoted. In more recent times they have tended to ask do you have AP so the discount is incorporated before the premium is given.
Yes, Sprog smarter than me and had already done that and it did bring the premium down somewhat
