I just viewed video from Dirty Tesla on the accumulation of dirt underneath the shield under the car
. I don’t what the thing is called but you need to get under the car to remove it to clean out the dirt. Does a yearly visit to SC for general maintenance do this routinely or do I neeed to ask or what? I am on a lot of dirt roads a lot of the time vs Dirty Tesla’s 6 miles per day. Thanks. This is not something I am capable of doing myself. Would aftermarket mud flaps help or have no effect?

I noticed this sort of thing with my Honda S2000. The lower portion of the bumper was just an empty plastic shell, so it would collect dirt and rocks. It was never more than a couple handfuls if fully collected, but it was annoying because it would literally dump dirt on my driveway and in my garage.

I haven't watched this video yet but I can't imagine the service center spends any time on something like that.
