Disappearing VINs?

My VIN disappeared too and I wish I wrote it down. Delivery is in a week and I gotta get the insurance.

Your sales advisor should have it. I tried Tesla chat and they were clueless and told me "you will be matched with a VIN soon" - sales advisor was very helpful and said he still had mine.

Is your VIN showing in source? Mine is missing on both the order page and source as of yesterday but still have my MVPA. Wondering if something was changed on the backend with code.

My VIN reappeared in the order page and source about 6pm last night. The MVPA link has not reappeared yet, but I think they are revising because I removed my trade in. Delivery is still set on the order page for 07/26 as well. Getting close!

Mine hasn't reappeared but I still have it on the MVPA under documents and got my appointment for pickup showing on the order page.

FWIW, my VIN disappeared over the weekend and reappeared today. I did nothing, and only the VIN disappeared.

VIN disappeared today. Been on account since 7/17. Car fully paid for (Texas requires it before delivery) and insurance is active. Delivery has been rescheduled from 7/27 to 8/1 and now to 8/7. Has anyone received their MY since they have had a VIN disappear?

My page have not changed since 7/20 when I first got my VIN.
VIN still there, delivery date 8/2, but he delivery team indicated 8/3 over the phone earlier this week.

I will give it until Friday to reappear. If it does not, I will give the Houston Nt. delivery team a call.

Just to circle back as the thread starter, my VIN disappeared, reappeared a few days later, and that's the car that was ultimately delivered to me (and on the original schedule too)

I had a similar issue the week before I took delivery of my MY on 07/26/2020. VIN disappeared for about 2 days, but delivery specialist confirmed he could see it in his system. After a couple of days there it was, same vin, same car!

Stupid question but where does the VIN appear? When I bought my X, it was a CPO so I never placed an order for it. Am I waiting for the RN number to change to a VIN?

What is “MVPA,” when does a delivery specialist get assigned and where do you see a chat option?

My car is due for delivery on Wednesday and I asked for a Saturday appointment when I called the dealership to have them email my final paperwork. Manage doesn’t show anything more than my RN.

Hmmm... that was emailed to me this morning and just showed up within the last hour. but the website says I still don’t have a VIN assigned.

And how do I get my car to show up in the app. I already have it on my phone for my Powerwalls.

It will not show up in the app before just before the delivery (with touch less delivery process).
