Disney+ not play videos

This week, my M3 is having issues with Disney+. The app loads fine and I can select any show or movie, go to the app settings, log out, etc. However, when selecting a show or movie to play, I just get a blank screen. This has persisted multiple days with a software update from 2022.36.2 to 2022.36.5 in between. All other apps tried (Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube) still play videos no problem.

Anyone else experiencing this. FYI, I have a 2018 M3 LR RWD with HW2.5 and Intel Atom MCU

Same issue just started a couple days ago for me. But then I checked my AppleTV and it was happening there aswell. I checked for a app update and there was one for the AppleTV. And now the video plays.

Seems that Tesla may need to update the app

I just noticed this occur this afternoon. I also have 2022.36.5 update pending so here's to hoping it will fix it. Admittedly, I did not try rebooting the car to see if it fixed it.

I have 2022.36.5 and it still does that. Installed this morning. Right after, I already have 2022.36.6 pending. Maybe that fixes it. Will know soon

Same issue for me started when updated to 2022.35.6 on my refresh X. Def needs to fix that have a 3yo who earned a whole day of TV including to and from church for not having any accidents!

Might be related to Disney plus changing their DRM checking recently. People on the Steamdeck sub-reddit have reported issues recently with Disney+. The Steamdeck runs on Linux, Tesla OS is also a modified version of Linux. Don't think their solution works here though, as they could change user agent.

I believe Disney Plus have pulled their services on Linux based devices. Is there a workaround on a closed system like a Tesla where we can’t access code?

I would think would take Tesla engineers or maybe even a special deal w Tesla and D+ to get it working again. Clearly we won't have it back soon.

Same issue MYLR. Kids need to watch Bluey in the AM lol reverted to playing on YT while this gets fixed.
