Display of vehicles near car

While I was out of the country, my S 75D received an update to 2018.50.6. Now I notice that the display does not show cars immediately in back, but continues to display cars coming alongside on both the right and left and in front. Shouldn't it also show cars directly in back? I thought it previously did.

I have found that the display of cars directly behind you has always been flaky as heck. It works sometimes, but others it does not. Also keep in mind if your camera is dirty (which in the winter it is always dirty), then it will have trouble seeing the cars.

Thanks. At least I know cars behind should be displayed. Hopefully, some windex will do the trick.

It seems as though the car behind you needs to be *really* close to show up. I think they’d need to add rear-radar to make that a meaningful feature.
