It seems the bodywork and paint finish is quite durable, all things considered.

We have found after close to a hundred showings that the brighter primary colors attract children more that the darker blacks, grays and my "adult" color (when overcast). The Popsicle orange color is by far the biggest sticky. oily and gooey fingered kid magnet.

Despite all this...the only damage I have is some scratches on my passenger seat from when my daughter wore a spiked belt. So no harm has come from all these people--I intend to keep showing it!

I had a kid trying to sit at the top of the doors and some people opening the charge port when they felt unseen, all while the car was parked in a public parking lot. Once there were kids driving bicycles around my car, leaving a scratch.
But the most damage comes from rocks on the street, my front spoiler and hood are filled with tiny rock injuries. I have a european Roadster, so no paint guard.
