Has anyone ever had the dash and main display go blank and reset themselves while driving?

Yes, many of us have experienced that. In my case it’s been a rare occurrence. If you have an older S with MCU1, it could be a sign that the MCU is failing.

Interesting. Mine is a 2021 S. I hope it was just a one off thing!

Had a similar issue today with my 21 Plaid. Came out and main display and dash are were blank. The lower panel displayed gears but to be honest I didn’t know how to use them. Went online and found out how to do a soft reset with the scroll buttons on the yoke and everything came back up after a few minutes.

Should I be concerned or should I report it to Tesla?

My 2021 LR dash display (in front of the yoke) has also blanked out twice, with one of these instances happening this morning on my way to work. It did not affect the drivability of the car in any way but is a little disconcerting when driving down the highway at 75mph. It came back on within seconds, however.
