I guess it would only work with the smaller USA charge plug.
The bigger type 2 plug might offer too much resistance to plug in cleanly?

I think the perceived problem is that when your self-driving Tesla is out driving around like a robo-taxi earning you money, it will need to be able to charge up without human involvement.

You have to drink the Tesla Kool-Aid to be able to spot that one though.

Wow, that's very much what I had in mind to build! I just have zero experience in literally any part of it, so I would have been hopeless in accomplishing anything. It's very cool to see it actually happen.
Remember when AP1 would come to meet you at anyplace on your property? Yeah, that never materialized, but I imagined something like this so I never had to enter my garage.
