DIY Maintenance. How much do we know?

I haven't found any information of current Tesla owners doing the maintenance themselves but I would assume that it should be as difficult or easy as on current vehicles with similar systems.

This guy restored a flooded Model S using parts from totaled Model S he got from junk yards.

Self Maintenance is great, however.

Whether you can perform your own maintenance or not is not the reason to DIY for some folks.

It would behoove any lease owner to have their maintenance done by a dealership and have it done timely if they are going to turn their car back in at the end. It is widely known that dealership maintenance of lessors gets them the max value during the turn-in.
