DIY MCU Replacement To Add Nav and LTE

You will have to have root on the new MCU in order to get the files/settings you need. A quick Google for DIY electric car Tesla root should get you where you need to go. It's not going to be easy... There is no step by step guide for this process.

Right, like I was supposed to predict that in the future it would be removed.... :rolleyes: it was there when I posted that....

The long and short is that you have to get the mmc memory chip removed, solder balled and put it in a USB reader. Then you can edit the file system at will. If you can't figure it out from there then you need to enlist the help of someone with live exploits or who can do the chip off rooting for you.
