After wrapping my wife’s model 3, completed most of the model X. Definitely did better after learning some lessons on the 3. Again, did a Vivvid matte white with a layer of ceramic, gives it a really nice satin finish. You can see if the difference by looking at the bare A pillars. Once I get some more material will finish. Also has a light headlight smoke, to top off the stormtrooper look.

Looks great! Where did you get the smoke wrap for the headlights? I wonder how it would look on my midnight silver x.
From Vivvid wraps. Can get it on amazon, would get the lighter smoke color, does reduce headlight output by 10% I would say.
Probably took around 20-25 hours total. Cost of wrap for both cars was 450 for 100ft but did run out just at the end did wrapping this car. Probably needed 10 for extra. $50 extra for miscellaneous tools (heat gun, edge tools).
Yeah, most shops wanted 5-6k per car for us. Definitely cost savings but takes a fair amount of persistence to pull it off.
