DIY Mud Flap Templates

Has anyone managed to make their own carbon fibre mud flaps or splash guards for the model 3?

I like the look of the T Solutions ones but given how simple they are they seem very expensive. With a bit of cardboard templating it seems this could be done easily enough with some 1mm carbon sheet. Has anyone tried this or know of a starting template?

I saw a comment on Reddit that's now been deleted. They bought a set of the common plastic splash guards from Amazon and traced them onto generic truck mud flap sheets to cut out, and then returned the plastic set. Not sure how they were mounted, but they ended up looking pretty good.
