I am waiting on my AWD so I don't have practical experience yet, but I am considering painting the handles, mirrors, badges, and chrome window trim rather than going the route of a vinyl wrap.
Here is a video about replacing a mirror housing. It shows how to remove the door panels for the Model 3:
Above is a different forum site...not sure if this is alright (I'm new here).
Are you going to paint yourself? I think the paint type and sand grit you use will be dependent on the material. I believe the handles are chrome, but the window trim may be coated plastic. Maybe someone else can chime in about the material types. Also, I don't believe you can easily remove the quarter window as it is mounted on the car via adhesive. This would mean you would have to tape off the whole car/most of the car to eliminate risk of overspray.
