Now that the kids are occupying my 3D printers for a while, I've decided to turn to my solder iron for today's project. I know Abstract Ocean already have an excellent solution for this, but for me, the fun is in building it myself.

Abstract Oceans have the much brighter replacement LED's which works well and is much easier to install.

ah I see I thought you meant they had one that was like your design. A string of LEDs.

You use any special tool to crimp it? I had a hard time last time when I did it for my S. I ended up scrapping the OEM plug in idea and just cutting the wires.

Nice, I have two of those LED strips in my PC at home.

I popped out the factory LEDs and replaced with two of the RPM Tesla LEDs ($9 each in the 5-pack). Easy and super bright too. I think RPM Tesla is brighter than even the Abstract Oceans.

The only negative is that you got to vacuum more often because it's more noticeable!
