It is designed after a supercharger. The "Urban" ones they've put in Chicago & Boston look just like that.

Except that they charge at 72kW, bit of a difference that.

More importantly, they ALWAYS charge at 72kW, no dropping performance when someone is charging next to you.

It's a cabinet designed to look like an urban supercharger, as specified in the original post. No one is claiming that it matches the charging capabilities of a real supercharger.

Technically its just a cabinet, hence being called a suburban supercharger - but still pretty darned cool. Nice work
I might try that myself, it looks easier than the fake Supercharger and worth the effort of making the front curved.

hmm - not sure why @Tubesocks disagreed with me - I thought I was complimenting the build.
The only thing I'd change is adding one of these Model S/X/3 Cable Organizer into the side to give it a finished look instead of a friction hole.

Not sure where he got the logo. I’ll ask him and find out.

My intent wasn’t to mislead that it was a “Supercharger” (sorry). I just thought it was a pretty cool idea. I plan on having him make me one when I get my M3.
