Do I get free HW 3.0 upgrade if I buy a used Tesla?

I'm in the market for a Model 3, and I'm considering purchasing a used Performance model (from an individual and not Tesla). Now whether the car comes with FSD already equipped or if I purchase it myself afterwards, do I still qualify for the free upgrade to HW 3.0 even though I'm not buying it new?

If the car already has FSD purchased against the VIN you will get the HW3.0 upgrade. If you purchase the car and it does not have FSD already purchased, you purchase it after the fact; you will get HW3.0.

Short Story - If FSD is purchased you get HW3.0.
