The price increase is likely just for LR and it is because prices were too close to M3. The Perf version was just 500$ more than M3 but they could have thought about it before launch, like normal people do.
Nobody will have any strength left to stand by their side if they don't stop with the chaos.
Musk and his idiotic war with the shorts, the focus on short term financials and nothing else, leading to a torrent of rushed and narrow minded decisions. If Musk doesn't chill already, he''s gonna kill Tesla.

Are you sure it wasn't built to get ZEV credits to offset their ICE sales? (Yeah it would probably be cheaper to buy them from Tesla.)

Eh, Jaguar sells too few cars to really care about ZEV. I think someone at Jaguar or Tata wants to build EVs, since they’ve also sponsored a Formula E team. Unfortunately they didn’t go all in for their first EV.

Yes I could have mentioned ZEV credits but self explanatory for everyone except for for Tesla and it’s more expensive to do that.
