Do referral codes work on New Inventory?

Sure do! I can send you one if you'd like (I think technically we're not supposed to publicly post referral code links, but private message is okay). Referral codes are valid on new Model S/X purchases and work for both custom order and inventory vehicles. The EV tax credits (federal, state, and local if available) apply as well. The referral codes do not work on preowned (including CPO), and will most likely not work for the 3 (although we don't know for sure yet).

Yep. Same with purchasing a used Tesla — basically, if you have a car attached to your My Tesla account, then you have a referral code.

Well, we're assuming that's for S and X only. Shortly we'll have to qualify all those statements with 'S and X' unless the referral program is revamped (when the backlog is caught up?).
