Do you have a child seat? I have a question.

I'm preparing to take delivery of my Model S (hopefully be late October), and as such I am looking at options to prevent damage to the seats of my new vehicle when I install my child's safety seat. In that respect, I am looking for suggestions as what to use, as Id rather not throw old towels under there like in my previous vehicle, heh.

You need one of these: http://www.toysrus.com/buy/car-seat-savers/summer-infant-duomat-car-seat-mat-black-77200-3620421

They are lifesavers for all the cheerio crumbs, juice splashes, vomit, spit-up, breast milk, etc. that your child can manage to fling everywhere.

The second configuration seems helpful as my child is almost 4. I'd just hate to immediately damage the NextGen seating by putting the seat in and cinching it down. Much appreciated, as even if I don't get this specific model it gives me a place to start researching. Do you find it prevents permanent indentations in the seating from the child seat?

We have two of these from Amazon. Diono Ultra Mat Full-Size Seat Protector, Black -

I have the Diono mats as well. I also use them in the front seat when I come home from the gym with all sweaty clothes. They have completely protected my leather on all accounts. The only thing that annoys me about them is that although the mats have clefts that allow you to connect an infant seat to the car seat latches, it is a bit of a pain to do so. I think that's a design issue, but in terms of function, the mats are great.

Beware that it can be much more difficult to get a proper installation with a seat protector, especially with leather seats. Check the manual of your car seat to see whether a seat mat, towel, etc is recommended. You would want to get your installation inspected after adding a seat mat.
