Do you have any tricks for keeping the plug properly plugged in? (Slack & tension)

On Charge point chargers there is a spring mechanism that keeps the cable tensioned.

It something forces the charger to stop charging.

Is anybody using some sort of system to keep a nice slack doing?

Like some clamps or something that routs the cable to the rear tire first or something like that?

The easiest method would be to take an acco clip or other spring clamp and make it so the tensioner can't do its job. Just clip onto the rope that wants to pull the string(and cord) back up right where the rope comes out of the charging stand.
