Does anyone wave anymore?

My wife and children cringe when I wave at Tesla’s. Ours is virtually brand news.

They tell me it’s embarrassing and tell me not to try and make it a thing.

On thé A47 between Dereham and Kings Lynn today, I saw a white 3 but too late to wave. A black X turned off some way ahead so couldn’t wave.
But I did manage to wave to an MSM 3. Not sure if they saw me.

driving through Bradford on the way home tonight got a wave off a model 3 that was I would described as battleship grey matt colour, looked really cool

Went for drive to a local bluebell wood (very pretty!)
a guy in a big 4x4 gave us a toot and a thumbs up. Must be a Tesla owner in disguise!
just a mile from home passed an MSM M3 coming the other way. Waved but a bit late, sorry. But your sunglasses were really cool

Hell, I wave at every Tesla, provided I notice them in time.

Pulled up at traffic lights today beside an identical Black Model 3, we both waved !

I occasionally see a blue MX going the other way in the morning - we always wave.

I try to acknowledge other M3s, but always a bit scared of waving at the 'big boys'...

I wave, about 75% wave back (I live in Milton Keynes so every other car is an EV of some description).

I've just had someone shout across the lanes in traffic that they love my car whilst driving down the North circular. Even my smart roadster, which always got admiring glances, never had strangers coming up to me to compliments my car. I've had a lot now in the Model 3. OT I know but up there with the recognition of waving.

Several trips into Edinburgh recently made me realise how many are on the road nowadays! Still got a couple of waves returned though!

The Tesla community has gotten so large I see waving less… that said I regularly notice and oftentimes salute any all-electric vehicle on the road, regardless which EV I’m currently in. Toyotas get a 1 finger salute and to eat my dust hehe.

The M4 corridor between Bristol and Cardiff feels like the model 3 must be the most popular selling car in the UK. (I don’t think it even cracked the top 10)

I'm gobsmacked by the numbers of HEV's in that list considering the paucity of recharge stations. Is this a list of all vehicle reg - incuding lorries and buses?
