Does anyone wave anymore?

As a new M3 owner, I’m super excited by my LR, however, here in CA, there are soo many Teslas running around, now treat mine as i did in ‘66 with my then new VW Bug. Too many to bother waving, nothing special about a Tesla 3 Bug (except to me).

My wife loves to be spotter...in fact she likes to do the waving...and I have to keep stopping her waving at Teslas while we are walking...

My wife waves at Tesla’s. Which is nice. But she does it when driving her Outlander

I was devastated the other day. A model 3 on A303 waved to me, last Monday, I was passed before I realised.

Whereabouts were you on A303?

I’m a new Tesla owner so I haven’t experienced the “wave“. I think about it whenever I pass another Tesla. Can someone describe what it was like in the early days? Sort of like a “secret society” acknowledging each other when passing by? Sounds very cool and I’m sorry I missed that.

Be sure to drive around with one trouser leg rolled up to be a member of ‘the club’

Never once a wave back here in Nebraska USA when I wave at other Tesla drivers. Occasionally I get a look back like “what?” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Whereabouts were you on A303?

Chicklade possibly, that road is too long - I was travelling from Torquay to Basingstoke. My spotter got there first and by then it was too late. I'm gonna keep on waving though.
