Does AP2.5 read speed limit signs?

I've heard mixed opinions on this. I know AP1 does. Yesterday going over the Golden Gate Bridge, my Model 3 thought the limit was 35 despite very large and clearly posted 45mph signs. I assume they are still relying exclusively on GPS data from TomTom?
 
I don't think AP is "looking" at speed signs. Instead, it's using data from the map provider (Google?) about the speed limit for any given road.

I think so because AP will fly through temporary construction zones with huge reduced-speed signs at full speed, but slow down on off-ramps approaching smaller roads.
