Does EAP use friction brakes more?

I've been trying to get into using autopilot in traffic, but people in my area drive like escaped mental patients so i always find that my manual input leads to smoother driving. One of the best things about this car is that there's no brake use or dust at all if you don't drive poorly, so I was wondering how much friction brakes autopilot would use due to the unexpected jackass maneuvers on the road.

If you keep your foot touched lightly to the brake, you can feel anytime the brake is used...

I personally try to time my braking to maximize regen and minimize friction brakes ... EAP does not share my dedication to this endeavor. It certainly uses regen but it is much quicker to use friction brakes than I am....
