Does "Enhanced Autopilot" Stay with the (Used) Vehicle

Greetings, folks.

I'm looking at a used (obviously) 2018 Model 3, Mid Range that has Enhanced Autopilot. I know that Tesla says that the Full Self Driving option does not transfer with a used vehicle, but does anyone know if EAP does? I'd hate to get the car and then have a downgrade pushed some months later.

Thanks in advance!

If Tesla buys the vehicle at any point, they may change the configuration (and lower the price for the resale). After all, it is their property at that point. The issue comes in when either a shady dealer then buys it and uses the original Monroney as “proof” of features, or they (Tesla) resell at a lower price(reflecting the lack of the software licenses) but don’t remove the feature until later (due to some really bad internal processes).

This only happens on vehicles that Tesla owns after the original owner. If Tesla is not the owner at any point, they cannot (legally) and do not change the configuration. The software licenses stay with the car. Supercharging is an ongoing service that they can refuse to transfer though.

Some websites that have more interest in clicks than the truth have reported on some cases where some of these things have happened and haven’t bothered clarifying what actually has occurred though.
