SC00: No Supercharging

SC01: Unlimited Free Supercharging (no restriction)

SC04: Paid Supercharging

SC05: Unlimited Free Supercharging (but not transferable between owners)

SC06: Unlimited Free Supercharging (time-based, or time-bound)

According to the article, there's no way you can transfer your free Supercharging feature unless your car is coded correctly as:

SC01: Unlimited Free Supercharging (no restriction)

That is correct. I sold mine to a mate and he still has the unlimited supercharging

I did using my iPad. It required quite a bit of effort and steps, but I confirmed I have SC01. Huzzah.

Yes. Mine is not transferable SC05 2017 Model X. It shows the same as if it is. No difference in the phone app.

I could easily fool the next owner by showing the specs on the phone app.

Very helpful post. Was fairly certain my FUSC was not transferrable and now I know it isn't: SC05. Thanks for the post.

To be honest, I've wanted to trade my S for an X of similar year but giving up FUSC is harder than I thought, despite that I don't use it as often as others. I definitely use it and a recent road trip to So. Cal felt "good" with gas at $6.00/gallon, but I honestly don't know how much it costs to supercharge as I've never paid for it. Funny because people ask me all the time how much supercharging costs and I have no clue.
