Does the non-Plain model S come with square or staggered tires? Additionally, what are stock widths?

Staggered. All trims, all rims of S and X are staggered.

in 2021 the OEM tires were 255/45 front and 285/40 in the rear for 19".

but 265/45 fit on the 19" tempest wheels in front.

FYI, my 2023 LR came with symmetrical All Season tires, which means they can be rotated side to side by flipping them on the rims. That's a big deal since it will double the life of the tires in the case of premature inner tire wear.
