Does the rear sensor alarm go off even when the bikes are not loaded on the bike rack?

I am researching which bike rack to buy for my 2022 Tesla Model 3. Internet says that when bikes are loaded, they will trigger rear sensor alarms when backing up unless trailer mode is enabled. Did anyone test whether the rear sensor alarms go off if the bike rack is not in use and simply folded back?

I am looking at these two racks:
(1) Thule T2 Pro XTR: Would most likely trigger rear sensor alarms if it folded due to its large frame. (Image 1)
(2) Thule Helium Pro: It only has a single pole with two split handles (Image 2). Definitely has a smaller-sized frame than Thule T2 Pro. Would this trigger an alarm when bikes are not loaded?
Curious to see if anyone has found any particular style of bike rack that would trip alarms!
