Does the Windshield Glass tint?

I would rather have the base (black box behind mirror in which camera and sensors are) be .5" bigger on any side, if needed, and remove the wiring. That extra space can be used to house a small solar panel and a small battery. Battery can provide power to sensors and camera for up to 48 hours even if it doesn't get any charge from small solar panel. As for data being transferred to the car computer, how about bluetooth or wifi??

Too bad they couldn't power and connect to the forward camera using something transparent like indium tin oxide wiring on the glass. Now that would be pretty sweet.

That was discussed before the launch event, but I guess it didn't happen.

I bet hiding front dash cam wires is going to be a real big pain in the ass.
There are transparent conductors like indium tin oxide [1]. But maybe they want to avoid extra costs.
