So I was just told by my local service center that there is no trim piece around the rear latch of the "60" side of the rear seat back latch!?!? Ok ......so the "40" side does have a trim piece around it?? they said they checked and it's not in their parts catalog or on other 3's at the SC? I'm not buying it, since there is one on the other side and it sure gives it a unfinished look not to mention they put one on the passenger side but not the drivers side ? can anyone verify this part exists?
    thank you! IMG_5257.jpg

It's Fugly looking in my opinion, and why have one on the other side? I would think there should be one but maybe the supplier never made them or?

I guess it's ugly if you drive with your seats down all the time. You can't see it from inside the trunk as it is in the latch. From memory I have seen other cars like this. Just don't own them to look. So maybe some others can go inspect other manufacturer's 60/40s before we call this 60/40 seat gate.
