Does your Model y 7 seater fold flat?

Just got my MY 7S Midnight Silver delivered. No panel issues, looks beautiful!! I notice the second row does nothing fold flat in line with third row though. There is about a half inch height difference in folded second row seats and folded third row seats. The rear cargo mat looks fine turned around to make it flat with third row seats - no issues there.

Do folks with model y see a height difference between the seats when folded down?

I answered you in another thread, but this one seems more appropriate for future searchability.

Mine does not fold flat. There's about an inch between both rows when folded. I don't have any need for it to be more flush than this, as I'll almost always have the second row up.

Thank you. We plan to go camping in our MY, so the seven seater is not a deal breaker but flat cargo area is. I’ve filed a service report and also ordered seat back covers for the second seat rows to see if they help bridge up the gap. Will update here on how the service goes and whether the Tesmanian seat back covers help meanwhile.

While mine don't fold completely flat, they are flatter than the pics posted

Took mine in for service and i got the dredded “within spec” answer. I could push it, but it doesnt bother me that much and I dont want to pull the trigger too many times on the Tesla Service Roulette.

We took ours in for service. Not sure what they can do, hoping they can make it reasonably better.

unfortunately no. Because they said it was "within spec" and the more i considered it, the more I realized I'll never really notice it. But I did make a service order for it "just in case" it does become an issue. Anything that bothers you make a service order for it just so there's a record for the future!
