Welcome to every Tesla ever made. My 2013 randomly turns off surround and resets it's tone controls. It's a known bug and it seems like it's always been a known bug.
I have a driver profile that moves the seat back and steering wheel up to exit the car. Sometimes I set the air condioner or music when I enter the car before I select my driver profile for driving. WHen I do this the settings are saved in my "exit" mode instead of my driving mode. Wondering if you are doing something like that and the dolby setting appears to be changnig but it was saved in another driver profile.

Yes If you hold the button but not if you only rapidly press once. Try it at a standard radio station, you'll see the heart "favorite" logo change if you press the center right button quick once. At first I was also wondering why I was losing my favorites. Let me know if it works.
