As customer production gets set to start, what could go wrong?
I worry about these things:
#1: Lotus gets sold or otherwise can't make the cars. (Tesla really depends on them right now!)
#2: Regulation prevents them selling the cars. (Are approved airbags available yet?)
#3: Batteries aren't available (are there really multiple sources that can be substituted?)
I have confidence they can solve all the little engineering issues (and probably have by now), but those regulatory and supply issues are what concerns me most. Hopefully none of these turn into real problems.
