Door handle harness micro switch backwards????

I got a replacement microswitch harness on ebay. My existing harness appears to be fine but since I was replacing the paddle gear I figured I do this at the same time.

But it appears one of the switches has the pigtail wired backwards. Here's a picture. Factory microswitch on left and aftermarket ebay one on right:

The replacement has the wire pointing up in the opposite direction. I thought maybe it was some sort of modified routing except that their own picture which HAS a modified routing example shows their own harness microswitch pigtail pointing down, not up.

Anyone buy a third party harness that looks like mine?

The seller said I should just install it backwards and bend the wire 180 degrees. Given my factory harness is still fine and I was only just doing a proactive replacement since I had it all apart, I'm not going to do what they suggested.

These switches are designed to accommodate different scenarios so you ended up with wrong/different part. Panasonic have them listed as LH/RH and contact/actuator wise, a little clarification on the photo attached

The switch should have been ASQ10230 but what is stamped on it is ASQ10330.
