Door handle light stops working periodically

The LED light on one of my door handle continues to go out every few days.
The strange thing is when it stops working, it'll start back working again after I wash my car.
It'll work for a few days, then go back out. After I wash my car, it seems to start working again for a day or so.
Can't quite figure out why it keeps going out.

Sounds like a connection that is ever so slightly loose that residual water makes the low voltage connection for the light. But being low voltage, there is not enough current to fry things. Just a WAG on my part.

I'm hoping it can be a quick and easy fix.

I just noticed one of my door handle lights were out yesterday. I am going to add it to my list for next service. Let me know how easy a fix it is.

My light went out does any one have info on how to fix it your self
