Doors won’t open!

Doors won’t open with fob or app, and now I smell sulfur!! I just had car serviced four days ago for other issues! Any ideas? TIA.

Are you sure your dog or cat wasn't nearby when you smelled sulfur?

I think you should contact Tesla - funny how things always happens on Fri just before the weekend starts possibly putting dampeners on weekend plans

Hi @Shelleyrenee77 ,

When my 12 volt battery was failing and I got the "Replace 12 volt battery" message,
I was told it was OK to drive the car UNLESS I smelled sulfur...
It generally means your 12 volt battery is overcharging.

The 12 volt failure would also prevent opening the doors...

It's time to replace the 12 volt battery.
Remember that can happen by mobile service, too...
