Just to be clear, I haven't either. But I've only driven it at night twice.

Because he didn't link it, here is the link to the thread. I posted some photos of the issue for my X on Page 7, and there are more photos on page 1 and 2 so you can judge for yourself. It's kind of like driving around with a dirty windshield all the time at night.

My VIN is 44XX, so that supports your theory. Perhaps there was a supplier change? Or a supplier to the supplier changed? Eh, who knows.

May I suggest that a senior forum member or mod compile a small list of VINs that do not exhibit double vision and submit it to a SC or Tesla directly. We may be able to help speed up a resolution. The other possibility is that the double vision is not supplier specific but an irregularity in the glass in a percentage of windshields, as Ohmman was trying to deduce.

Mine is a teenage VIN Signature, it has double vision.

Any "perfect" vehicle should be double checked by posting a nighttime photo.
