As other's have said Elie has been more than accommodating. I have to fly out of town next week for business so he is taking the car while I'm gone. He is even having me driven home after I drop off the car so I don't have to bum a ride off of someone... that's service! I'll post pictures of my upgrades once they are done next week. Sorry for hijacking your thread Ian.
You're not hijacking MY thread at all. As I said from the jump, I'm a huge fanboy of Elie at Al & Ed's Al s Autosound West Hollywood . It's not just that he knows how to treat exotic CARS right, its, as you rightly pointed out, knows how to treat BUSY exotic car OWNERS right too! He's not someone who's practicing on your car, he's someone that works hand in glove with the Tesla service place down the same street. They made sure that I had mutiple amps so that it wouldn't pull too much juice from the 12V at once; something I peripherally understand but glad they thought of it instead of some others that have messaged me they found out from other stores the hard way. They made everything plug and play for easy access for the Tesla techs having that conversation with them BEFORE there is a problem. I invite anyone with Elie experience, good or bad, to post here. Cheers!

OK, Here I go: I ordered a set of the front and rear floor mats from them based on the pictures Taras posted. I have to say they are the best I have EVER seen. Two colors of carpet matched together to form the 'T" and then nicely trimmed to accentuate the T. The whole bottom is a rubber that will not let liquid through with continuous extruding points about every 3/4 inch to make sure it does not slip. Great work. Not cheap , but worth it for something that you see every day, and the first thing someone sees when they step into your car. Great Job A &E !!

(Rumor has it this is Sergey Brin's car, getting a touch-up for April fool's.

I'm having Elie install a few of the things that Ian had done next week (Radar/Laser detector, blind spot monitor, front and rear parking sensors, customs floor mats). We'll see what he comes up with under my cubby to display those items since I won't be getting the MobileEye. As other's have said Elie has been more than accommodating. So weird.. me too! I fly out of LAX tomorrow. Our cars will be there getting done together. I already have the Cilajet, tint, Mobileye, and Escort. Getting the parking sensors and blind spot detector added.

The HUN gets a manicure!

I too had to go out of town & this is my story (& I'm sticking to it)...

Within 30 minutes of picking up the car for the 1st time, I drove it over to the Tesla-LA Service Center to show 'em. They were closed (it was a Saturday) & when I exited the parking lot onto the small side street, I was next going to make a turn onto Santa Monica Bl. next to the Starbucks. There are 3 lanes and it was full of traffic. To try and squeeze in, I made a sharp turn into the most right hand lane and sssssssssscrape! Curb rashed my new wheels which do stick out past the tire and thus are a hazard for a klutz like me! The guy under the umbrella sitting outside of the Starbucks got a kick out of it! :cursing:

About 1/2 hour later, Elie called me to see how I was enjoying "A Tesla the Hun!" Then he made mention that I should take care of not curbing the wheels! Like a kid in a confessional, I broke down & mea culpa-ed! It was both cathartic and humbling and embarrassing. After a deep breath and a pause, he said, no problem, we'll take care of it! So when I too went to LAX on my way out of town, I too got a ride to the airport and left the Hun at A-E's WeHo resort! Here's a picture he sent me of The Hun getting his nails manicured on Santa Monica Blvd.! Dude! I've NEVER had a manicure!
