I think it's definitely worth asking for $800. Plenty of people will use something once, decide they don't like it, and then say it's still new. The fact that OP hasn't answered would have me thinking the answer is 'yes'.

I bought it from someone else who never used it either.

Once you order one, anything over 800$ USD, I believe, has customs and import tax. The total Ive seen out of pocket has been around 1000$ once it gets to you which could take a significant amount of time due to covid.
