First - I searched a lot, and read a lot, and even started my own DIY to fix what I thought was wrong, but I'm striking out.
1) My door handles DO present. (not a paddle gear issue?)
2) When I pull on the handle I do hear the latch motor trying to work, but the latch won't release. (not the micro-switch issue?)
The mechanical release DOES work, but it seems like/sounds like the actual latch motor is failing and will only release somewhere between 3 and 10 pulls on the handle. All of my searching comes up with threads and videos for issues 1 and 2 above. Is it possible this latch mechanism itself has died?
