Driver Profile not adjusting steering wheel

A few weeks ago my car got towed due to faulty low voltage controller. Everything was dead. After they fixed it, the steering wheel no longer remembers the driver profile settings. Selecting different driver profiles doesn't matter. Seat and mirrors adjust fine. Steering itself can be adjusted normally, its just that the driver profiles do not remember/restore the position.

Any suggestions?

(I've already tried rebooting, deleting profiles and recreating). My last resort would probably be factory reset thought I hear it's a bit of trouble to link everything back together so I'm trying to avoid it.

Don't know but I had that happen for a while. Eventually, it/car got tired of being a fu*kup and stopped screwing around. Not sure it was any of my resets that fixed it. And I didn't have any handy software updates to blame either, shame that..........
