Driver seat stuck in "gangsta lean"

Anybody else ever have this issue? my driver seat back won't tilt forward past leaning back of center about 15 degrees. I have an appt with a SC monday, I'm guessing they will just replace the seat.

Probably the seat control module. Each seat has one. Part is about $150 as I recall.

So even though the seat moves through the full range of motion except tilting forward past a certain point you still think it's a control module?

I do. The motor seems like it is working. I don't know of any other part involved unless there is an obstruction, and I don't think there is a limit adjustment for the recline movement. Make sure and post what they fix.

Well I missed my appt Monday, rescheduled to next Monday I'll report back, but sounds like a seat control module from the above poem. (and previous reply)

Got my car back today, they 'recalibrated' the seat and now it works like normal. Also had a bad creek any time I hit the accelerator pedal from a stop, and a small clunk when I took off. They fixed both, said they lubed up some stuff and now it's good as new.

I'm sure they just hook up a computer and run the range of motion through some UI and set the parameters I would assume.

So does your driver seat incline forward now? Past 90 degree upright and way forward? Just wondering what the normal range of incline is.
