Driver Side Wiper Hits Frame

Anyone else have an issue where your driver side wiper tip passes off the windshield onto the A pillar? For me it seems intermittent and more common at highway speeds.

Not sure how they are mounted. But older cars the wiper arm was on a very fine spline. You could mount it off by a couple teeth. You compare where you blade parks compared to other Model X. There could be other adjustments or limiters too.

You might want to put it in service mode and lift blade off glass and wiggle to see if excessive play in the drive.

Same issue on our model X. Tesla fixed it.
But...
They adjusted both wipers.
So when it started raining. Car acted crazy.
Passenger wiper wasn't close to wipe in front of the camera. Had to stop and adjust it myself.
How can anyone at a workshop be that stupid?

I tried to adjust, but to adjust the driver side down a bit it quickly was touching the pass side, which is I'm sure why they adjusted both. I got maybe 1/4". Will report back.

I had to bring mine in for service on this as my wiper blade started scratching the paint. They readjusted it and it is fine now.

Tesla Mobile Service fixed that problem (driver's windshield wiper running just past the (driver's left) edge of the glass) on my 2019 MX is just a couple of minutes. Said it was adjusted a bit long.

Did they take care of the paint too? This just happened to me and am wondering if they will give me problems
