So this has happened 'in flight' three times now. Car continues to driver - at unconfirmed speed of course ;).
Stays blank and car has to be rebooted (hard not soft) to get it back.
Had one where it went 'snowy' (like TV after midnight in the 60's) - soft boot brought it back, but did not trust it so did a hard boot.

Anyone else seeing this?
New software feature?

I have seen it a couple of times during the past year. It self reboots and comes back after a few minutes.
Yikes, I've not seen that - but as you say that seems to be rebooting in-flight. I never worried about losing the center console, but the primary driver information (speed, AP sensor indicators, range, etc) is a whole lot more worrying IMO. And a "self-reboot" implies the back-end is going away as well as the display - so I wonder is AP is active during that time ???
