Not sure if this is the proper forum for this. Any opinions about DrivingElectric-dot-org? They want EV owners who are willing to share information, give rides, etc., to sign up, so people who are "EV curious" can get in touch with them and learn more. Seems like a good idea, but I don't know anything about the folks behind it. I signed up, but without giving personal information other than my city and a disposable email address.

Nice sleuthing, and yea, Felix is an upright guy. - - - Updated - - - Signed up! Just need a car to show off now.
And Felix is working with other orgs, like Plug In America and Electric Auto Association, to get this site built and get owners signed up. We'd like to announce it on Sept 23 (National Plug In Day), so new consumers we meet that day can find owners near them to ask questions. But...we need an owner database first. So, please, sign up!
Thanks for the info. This is good to know. I still don't like to give personal info on the web, but I am signed up and they can reach me if anyone wants a ride in my Roadster or information about my EV experiences. I'll add the EV Porsche to my profile if and when Tim gets it drivable. I note that they've asked people who don't own an EV to wait until Sept 23 to sign up. (Baring bad weather, I'll be at Spokane's Plug-In Day. From what I hear, there will be several other cars there. Maybe another Roadster, several conversion cars including my Porsche if Tim has it ready by then, and possibly cars from several dealerships.)
