Wife and I decided to take advantage of the constant great weather here in LA and do some driving for no reason other than to drive. (So she thinks)
Myself, the wife and baby drove down to Orange County went to fashion island to walk around.
My real intentions were to drive around enough to really take advantage of the potential of a supercharger! (My wife thinks I took her to a really nice mall)
We went to the Tesla store, got a jacket I've been wanting, and as we walked out I noticed a couple at some tables with white Tesla folder. You know, the one you get when you pull the trigger on a new MS. Really cool guy "Steve", sat down with him for at least an hour and we talked about how stoked he's going to be once his car arrived. He's already got the grin, as he just came off a test drive!
Had Lunch.
Drove up the 405 to Hawthorne. Arrived with 75 rated left.
All stalls were taken except 2 & 4. Pulled up to 4, plugged in, got the red ring. Retried 5-6 times. Moved to stall 2. Got blue ring. 5-6 times, called Tesla. He suspected it was the supercharger. I pulled back to wait for one to free up, then a kind gentleman let me know the "temp" one is off to the west. I pulled up, plugged in, all is well!! Started charging at 118kwh. Wow. Picked up 50% SOC in 35mins.
My Battery Pack is a "D" Pack
We were stoked to see the showroom open at 7:20, well past the 9-6pm posted open hours, because we got to see the MX mock up. I hope to afford one for the wife!!

All in all, had a blast. The love for MS grows daily.
